The Farm Barn Orientation Center
Your Visit To Duke Farms Starts Here
Built in 1906 to house thoroughbred racehorses, the Farm Barn was later converted to a work dairy barn. In 2012 it was renovated to LEED Platinum Standards, the highest rating from the U.S. Green Building Council.
Today the Farm Barn is a destination for conferences aligned with the mission of Duke Farms as well as office space for our team. Our visitors can access the Carriage Way on the lower level to prepare for their exploration of our living lab or stop by the Farm Barn Café for a meal of locally sourced, seasonal delights.
The lower level of the Farm Barn Orientation Center is the only building at Duke Farms that is open to the public.
