Download the Eagle Cam Observation Log Form here.

The Eagle Cam is a great way to pass time during times of social distancing. Help us out by recording and submitting observations of the nest, adult eagles, and eaglets.

How? Simply fill out the form below and click Submit. The Submit button will prompt you to send an email with the filled PDF to info@dukefarms.org. You can also save a copy of the filled PDF and email it is an attachment to info@dukefarms.org.

Tips for Recording Observations

Be as specific as possible! Make sure to include AM or PM. It is okay if you do not know the species of fish they are eating, but recording size estimation, colors, and shapes will help staff be able to identify. Feel free to take screenshots of the live cam and submit them along with the filled PDF. The male eagle is smaller and has bands on both his legs, just above the feet. The female is larger and is not banded.

You can rewind the Eagle Cam and take observations during periods of feeding or other activity, but please make sure the times of observations recorded are accurate. You can record the timestamp on the bottom right corner of the live cam.
