We had our Big Day at Duke Farms on May 5th, 2018; the Saturday skies were cloudy to partly sunny, with warm weather all around.
At 5:45 am, our dedicated group of participants navigated around Duke Farms grounds, keeping their eyes peeled for any bird activity. Around two hours later, our group managed to identify over 110 species! Some dedicated watchers even managed to keep counting species well into the afternoon. Here are some of the birds we saw:
