July 19, 2021
It's been a while since we've updated everyone on the open/closed status, so this will serve as a mid-summer update:
- Farm Barn remains closed.
- The cafe is open for outdoor service.
- All bathrooms are open.
- Orchid Range is open.
- Free entry passes are required for Saturday visits.

Although the State of NJ has adjusted its guidelines on wearing masks, please continue to mask up at Duke Farms wherever social distancing is not possible, like in bathrooms, at entryways, gates, the farm market, and in classes.
Until the rate of Covid-19 infection in New Jersey is significantly lowered, Duke Farms will continue to operate with safety and discretion for essential workers and those unable to be vaccinated such as children and immunocompromised. We ask that visitors please continue to mask up in caring for our more vulnerable community members.

The health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers are of the highest priority to Duke Farms.
At this time, COVID-19 continues to be a high risk for unvaccinated people in Somerset County. Only 42% of the population here have been immunized.
We are continuing to ask all visitors to wear a mask outdoors when social distancing is difficult. We are requiring all visitors to wear masks at the Dukes Parkway West Crossing, in restrooms, at the Farmers' Market, when renting bicycles, while in classes, and while in the Orchid Range.
